Designed by Filson for all weather conditions. Made with Filson’s Tin Cloth, this briefcase is made to resist tearing, abrasion and moisture. The cloth is treated with petroleum-based wax to increase its water repellence. The fabric does have an oily texture but will provide armour-like protection against rain, mud and other elements.
The top has a zippered closure with a storm flap covering with bridle leather incorporating a popper closure, all zips are brass and rust-resistant. The carry handles are made from saddle-strength leather and the removable shoulder strap is made from durable webbing with leather accents and brass snap fittings. Also included is Filson’s original oil finish wax, to help maintain maximum water repellent.
