Garphyttan Original Smock

The Garphyttan Original Smock is very versatile and functional. It is derived from the historical and classic jacket model that has been used by shepherds and in the military for many years. The Original Smock is excellent to use all year round in harsh conditions. Our smock is a spacious piece of outerwear with plenty of room for an extra warm mid-layer on the colder days of the year.

The Original Anorak is equipped with a large adjustable hood, which even provides room for a helmet. The front of the hood can be folded inwards and outwards depending on your need for increased visibility or protection from the wind. When not in use, the hood forms a high collar, keeping the neck warm.

The Original Smock is equipped with many functional and large pockets, meaning you can carry most of the items needed for a couple of days in the woods. On the inside, you have two sturdy mesh pockets, perfect for storing smaller items that don't need to be as easily accessible or for drying items that have become wet. The front of the smock is equipped with four robust pockets, and it also has two double napoleon pockets for your hands, as well as two sleeve pockets.

This smock is equipped with a pocket with a flap on each side, suitable for a ¬Ω litre water bottle or a small thermos. Between these, on the back of the smock, we have placed a spacious letterbox pocket, which is excellent for storing other clothing such as gloves, a hat or perhaps a small sleeping bag.

The Original Smock can easily be treated with Wax for improved water repellency.
