Beretta Coats & Jackets

Beretta waterproof jackets and three-layer shells

When the forecast means sustained rain rather than showers, the three-layer shells are the ones to look at. The Chamois 3L and Bakhold 3L both use a waterproof, breathable membrane with taped seams, and the B-Xtreme GTX adds a GORE-TEX membrane for the worst of it. A three-layer construction bonds the face fabric, membrane and lining together, which keeps the weight down and stops the lining clinging when you are working hard. Check the hood adjustment and whether the pockets stay reachable with a gun in your hands.

Insulated and softshell Beretta jackets

For cold rather than wet, the Teal Sporting EVO and Tosark give insulation without the bulk of a heavy coat, and both sit well under a shell if the weather turns. The Sonoran softshell is the middle ground — wind-resistant and water-repellent rather than waterproof, with enough stretch for a full day of walking. Softshells suit dry cold and active use; if you are standing still on a wet peg, a shell is the better buy.

Choosing a Beretta shooting jacket

Start with how you shoot. Driven days mean standing still in whatever arrives, so waterproofing and a quiet face fabric matter most. Walked-up and rough shooting means movement, so look at how the shoulders and arms move and whether the cut allows a clean mount. Clay days are closer to everyday outdoor wear and a softshell is often enough. Across all three, the details that decide it are collar shape, cuff adjustment, pocket access and how the jacket sits once you have layers underneath. Womens cuts are made in several of these lines.
