Blending refined elegance with tradition and technology, the new Purdey collection at The Sporting Lodge showcases the finest Scottish tweed and cashmere with the latest garment innovations to create lighter, more durable fabrics. The colours for this year’s collection take their inspiration from the beautiful greens, purples and blues of the Scottish highlands. Following the successful launch of the men’s technical tweed last year, this season sees the introduction of the Mount Technical Tweed for ladies and the new colour Lawrence for men. Purdey’s technical tweed is resilient against high levels of abrasion and through a combination of yarn twist and the addition of a small quantity of nylon fabric is one third lighter than traditionally woven tweed.
