Leica Sports Optics Experience Days – Premium Hands-On Training for Enthusiasts

This summer, we are pleased to extend an invitation to the Leica Sports Optics Experience Days — a rare opportunity to engage directly with Leica's industry-leading technology in an immersive, practical setting.
Organised and delivered by Leica, these full-day events are specifically designed for end users — whether you’re already a Leica owner or exploring the brand for the first time. Each session is led by professional Leica Akademie instructors from Germany, alongside the expert team at Hinterland Sporting.

What the Day Involves
Morning Session
- Detailed overview of Leica Sports Optics products, including the new Calonox 2 Sight
- Training on Geovid Pro and AB+ functions using the Leica Ballistic App
- Learn how to map terrain and build a custom ballistic profile
Afternoon Session
- Live range session: shoot distances from 100 to 750 yards
- Input and apply your own ballistic data in real-world conditions
- Use Leica riflescopes and equipment, or bring your own rifle and ammunition
All training takes place in a controlled and supportive environment, with expert instruction throughout.
Fee and Exclusive Reimbursement Offer
The cost to attend is £100 per person — this includes a full day of training, access to Leica equipment, live range sessions, refreshments, and lunch.
Exclusive for The Sporting Lodge customers: We will reimburse your £100 deposit when you purchase a pair of Leica sport optics from us after the event. Simply provide your attendance confirmation and we’ll deduct the full amount from your purchase.
What to Bring
- Leica Geovid or CRF unit (if you own one)
- Your own rifle and ammunition (optional)
- Valid firearm certificate (if bringing a rifle)
- Hearing protection
- Outdoor clothing and footwear suitable for field use
